1. Develop and design new and innovative sweater styles for the women's collection at Calvin Klein.
2. Stay up-to-date on fashion trends and translate them into unique and marketable sweater designs.
3. Work closely with the design team to develop cohesive collections that align with the brand's aesthetic and vision.
4. Collaborate with the product development team to ensure designs are feasible for production and meet quality standards.
5. Conduct research on materials, techniques, and construction methods to enhance the quality and functionality of our sweaters.
6. Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for each design to be used in the production process.
7. Attend fittings and make necessary adjustments to designs to ensure proper fit and comfort.
8. Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers to source materials and oversee production of designs.
9. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to strict deadlines.
10. Continuously evaluate and provide feedback on product designs to ensure they meet the brand's standards of excellence.
11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandisers and marketing, to ensure sweater designs align with the brand's overall strategy.
12. Stay informed on industry trends and provide insights and recommendations for future collections.
13. Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and make suggestions for ways to differentiate our designs.
14. Contribute to the overall creative direction of the brand by sharing ideas and participating in team brainstorms.
15. Represent Calvin Klein and its values through your work and interactions with colleagues and external partners.
