  1. Develop and deliver engaging and informative lectures on various topics related to education.
  2. Create lesson plans and materials that align with current educational practices and promote equity and social justice.
  3. Provide feedback and guidance to students to support their learning and growth.
  4. Stay updated on current research and trends in the field of education and incorporate them into teaching.
  5. Participate in department meetings and collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and teaching methods.
  6. Support and mentor students in their academic and professional development.
  7. Assess and evaluate student performance and provide timely and constructive feedback.
  8. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
  9. Adhere to university policies and procedures, and uphold academic integrity.
  10. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
  11. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds.
  12. Assist in organizing and coordinating events and activities related to the School of Education.
  13. Collaborate with community partners to provide hands-on learning opportunities for students.
  14. Contribute to the overall growth and success of the School of Education at California State University San Marcos.

Job Qualifications
  • A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Education Or A Related Field, With A Preference For Candidates With A Doctorate Degree.

  • Previous Teaching Experience At The University Level, Preferably In The Field Of Education, With A Strong Record Of Student Engagement And Success.

  • Demonstrated Expertise In A Specific Area Of Education, Such As Curriculum And Instruction, Special Education, Or Educational Leadership.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Engage And Collaborate With Diverse Students And Colleagues.

  • A Commitment To Diversity, Equity, And Inclusion In Education, And A Willingness To Integrate These Principles Into Teaching And Curriculum Development.
