  1. Provide expert guidance and advice to students regarding financial aid resources and procedures.
  2. Assist students in completing financial aid applications and accurately assessing their eligibility for aid.
  3. Keep up-to-date with financial aid regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely assistance to students.
  4. Communicate effectively with students and their families, providing clear and concise information about financial aid options and requirements.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and offices to streamline financial aid processes and improve student access to resources.
  6. Maintain accurate records of financial aid data and ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
  7. Monitor and track financial aid disbursements, and assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies.
  8. Identify and promote scholarship opportunities to students, and assist in the application process.
  9. Conduct financial aid workshops and informational sessions for students and parents.
  10. Provide support and guidance to students in managing their financial aid and budgeting for educational expenses.
  11. Stay current with industry trends and developments in financial aid to continuously improve services and support for students.
  12. Participate in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills related to financial aid advising.
  13. Contribute to a positive and inclusive campus culture that values diversity and supports student success.
  14. Adhere to all university policies and procedures related to financial aid and student services.
  15. Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working In Financial Aid Or Student Services, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Federal And State Financial Aid Regulations, Policies, And Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Students, Families, And Colleagues.

  • Ability To Analyze Complex Financial Information And Make Informed Decisions To Determine Eligibility For Financial Aid Awards.
