Responsibilities:

1. Teach courses in speech-language pathology at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
2. Mentor and advise students in the speech-language pathology program.
3. Develop and maintain curriculum that aligns with national accreditation standards and reflects current research and best practices.
4. Contribute to the development and implementation of new courses and programs within the department.
5. Engage in scholarly activities, including conducting research, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and presenting at conferences.
6. Participate in service activities, including serving on departmental, college, and university committees.
7. Collaborate with community partners to develop and implement outreach initiatives that address the diverse needs of our local and global communities.
8. Maintain a current knowledge base in the field of speech-language pathology, including staying informed about current trends and advancements.
9. Serve as a role model for students by demonstrating professionalism, cultural competence, and ethical behavior.
10. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the success of all students.
11. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching, research, and service skills.
12. Maintain a clinical practice and/or engage in clinical supervision of students, as appropriate.

14. Contribute to the advancement of the field of speech-language pathology through service to professional organizations and involvement in community outreach and advocacy.
