Director, University Events

Manages complex and multi-faceted large-scale events, philanthropic board events, fundraising events benefitting the entire campus and provides advice and counsel on smaller events including fundraising events in colleges and stewardship events campus wide. Responsibilities include direction, recommendation, and oversight of large-scale signature development events for the university. This position strategizes, directs, and oversees all university event activities including communications with internal and external stakeholders, leads and facilitates university event committees, forms partnerships on and off campus, directs the use of campus resources for events, negotiates vendor contracts, oversees the RFP and RFQ processes when identifying new vendors.
