
Campus Planner
The Campus Planner reports to the Director of Design and Construction, or their designee, and will be responsible for directing and managing a wide range of planning, space management/reporting tasks, campus strategic initiatives, providing technical and planning expertise to other staff and project teams in the office and across campus, and providing and performing project management services. The Campus Planner has expertise in higher education planning processes, is strategic in planning practices, is an inclusive leader, and aligns their work with the mission, goals, and strategic plan of the division and university. This position serves as the direct liaison with the Chancellor’s Office planning department and will be a resource for a variety of planning projects that include capital outlay plans, campus master plans, and space utilization studies, along with leading feasibility studies that include conceptual design and programming studies for academic, support and auxiliary facilities.
Five years planning experience is required
Excellent skills in developing and maintaining effective and collegial working relationships.
Experience with managing and coordinating space for a program a plus
Relevant experience in Higher Education. Licensed Architect/Engineer a plus
