Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to our recipes and standards.
Ensure all ingredients are of high quality and properly stored and rotated.
Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times.
Work efficiently and quickly to keep up with high volume orders.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and timely service.
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Assist with inventory and ordering of kitchen supplies.
Train and mentor new team members.
Continuously strive to improve and innovate our pizza offerings.
Communicate effectively with kitchen and front of house staff.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Take pride in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our customers.
Help maintain a positive and professional work environment.
Attend and participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
Maintain a positive and friendly attitude towards customers and team members.

Job Qualifications

Culinary Experience: A Pizza Cook At California Pizza Kitchen Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Professional Kitchen, With A Focus On Pizza Making.
Knowledge Of Pizza Making Techniques: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Different Pizza Styles, Dough Preparation, Topping Combinations, And Cooking Methods.
Food Safety And Sanitation Knowledge: A Pizza Cook Needs To Have A Thorough Knowledge Of Food Safety Guidelines, Proper Food Handling, And Sanitation Practices To Ensure The Safety And Quality Of The Food.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: California Pizza Kitchen Is A Busy Restaurant, And The Pizza Cook Should Be Able To Work Efficiently And Effectively In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Team Player: The Pizza Cook Will Work Closely With Other Kitchen Staff, So The Ability To Communicate And Collaborate Effectively Is Essential. They Should Also Be Able To Take Direction From The Head Chef And Work Well In A Team Setting.
