- Develop and implement financial strategies to effectively manage the institution's cash flow and investments.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify potential risks and opportunities for the institution.
- Create and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, ensuring efficient and cost-effective banking services.
- Manage the institution's debt and investment portfolios, making informed decisions to optimize returns.
- Oversee the daily cash management operations, including cash positioning, forecasting, and reconciliations.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and the Board of Trustees.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations, and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in treasury management to continuously improve processes and procedures.
- Supervise and mentor treasury staff, providing guidance and support to achieve department goals.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, automation, and cost savings.
- Participate in the annual budgeting process, providing financial insights and recommendations.
- Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, auditors, and government agencies.
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of financial information and transactions.
- Represent the institution in financial and treasury-related matters, including attending conferences and networking events.
- Uphold the institution's values and mission while performing all duties and responsibilities.
Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Treasury Management, Preferably In A Higher Education Institution Or Non-Profit Organization.
Strong Understanding Of Financial Principles And Regulations Related To Treasury Operations, Including Cash Management, Investments, And Debt Management.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Develop And Implement Strategic Financial Plans.
Experience With Financial Systems And Software, Such As Sap, Oracle, Or Treasury Workstation, And Proficiency In Microsoft Excel.
