- Coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of programming and events at the California Institute of Technology.
- Provide technical support for faculty and staff, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Collaborate with various departments and teams to plan and execute events and programs.
- Develop and maintain a schedule of events and programs, ensuring all logistics are in place.
- Work closely with faculty and staff to understand their technical needs and provide solutions.
- Maintain and update event and program budgets, ensuring that expenses stay within allocated funds.
- Oversee the setup and maintenance of equipment and technology used for events and programs.
- Communicate with external vendors and partners to coordinate services and resources for events and programs.
- Ensure that all events and programs adhere to Caltech's policies and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during events or programs.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
- Maintain accurate records of events and programs, including attendance numbers and evaluations.
- Assist with marketing and promotion of events and programs through various channels.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging and informative event and program materials.
- Train and supervise event and program support staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Stay updated on current technology trends and make recommendations for incorporating new technologies into events and programs.
- Serve as a liaison between faculty, staff, and external partners to ensure successful collaborations.
- Attend and provide support at events and programs as needed.
- Adhere to all safety and security protocols to ensure the well-being of all participants.
- Uphold Caltech's values and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Programming And Operations Coordination In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Strong Knowledge And Experience With Programming Languages Such As Java, Python, And C++.
Excellent Organizational And Project Management Skills.
Ability To Collaborate And Communicate Effectively With Team Members And Stakeholders.
