Fabrication Engineer

Micro- and nano- fabrication and related tasks in a cleanroom environment for prototype MEMS/NEMS and nanophotonic devices based on silicon and other materials. Process flow validation and optimization: use of optical microscope, scanning electron microscope, profilometer, parameter analyzer, and related tools to evaluate device characteristics and to iteratively improve device performance and fabrication yield. The job tasks will comprise a complete spectrum of micro- and nano-fabrication tasks in a state-of-the-art cleanroom facility including CAD mask design (using design specs provided by team), electron beam pattern generation and lithography, optical lithography, plasma etching and deposition, materials deposition, and other related nano- and micro-fabrication techniques.
