
Catering Manager

- Oversee all aspects of catering operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and service execution.
- Manage a team of catering staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality service.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the best quality and pricing for catering services.
- Collaborate with event planners and clients to create customized menus and ensure all dietary restrictions and preferences are accommodated.
- Maintain inventory and budget for catering operations, ensuring cost-effective practices and minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations and maintain a clean and organized catering kitchen.
- Coordinate and execute catering for a variety of events, ranging from small meetings to large-scale conferences.
- Continuously evaluate and improve catering services, incorporating feedback from clients and staff.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues promptly and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in catering and food service management.
- Adhere to all institute policies and procedures, including those related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Represent the institute in a professional and hospitable manner at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Catering Or Event Planning, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.
Strong Organizational And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Handle Multiple Events Simultaneously.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Liaise With Clients, Vendors, And Staff.
Knowledge Of Food Safety And Sanitation Protocols, As Well As Experience In Menu Planning And Budget Management.
