- Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and procedures for the institution's AWS environment.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation actions.
- Design and implement secure AWS architecture to protect critical assets and data from cyber threats.
- Monitor and analyze security logs and events to identify and respond to potential security incidents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Stay updated on the latest AWS security tools, technologies, and best practices and make recommendations for their implementation.
- Provide guidance and support to other team members on AWS security best practices and procedures.
- Conduct training and awareness programs to promote a security-conscious culture within the institution.
- Work closely with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure their security practices align with the institution's standards.
- Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing to ensure the institution's critical systems and data are protected.
- Keep abreast of regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Communicate and report on security incidents, risks, and mitigation measures to senior management.
- Collaborate with external security teams and agencies in the event of a security breach.
- Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of security controls and make recommendations for improvement.
- Remain available for on-call support in case of urgent security incidents.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Designing And Implementing Security Solutions On Aws.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Aws Security Services, Including Iam, Kms, Waf, And Security Hub.
Proven Experience In Conducting Security Assessments, Vulnerability Testing, And Remediation On Aws Infrastructure.
Strong Understanding Of Compliance Standards Such As Hipaa, Pci Dss, And Gdpr, Along With Experience In Implementing And Maintaining These Standards On Aws.
