AutoCad Drafter

Creates and updates electronic AutoCAD drawing files to provide "as-built" documentation of Caltech's facilities from project documents & drawings, sketches, shop drawings and/or field verification. Produces complex technical drawings of existing facilities systems (electrical, mechanical, piping, etc.) for use in ongoing facilities operations. Facilitates field verification of utilities and equipment within Buildings, Central Plant, Laboratories, and Tunnel environments. Coordinates drawings across multiple disciplines (e.g. electrical, mechanical, plumbing, architectural, etc.). Manages development of drawings within Caltech's document management electronic database system. Works closely with Caltech Designers, Drafters, Project Managers and Engineers to ensure design accuracy.
