Residential Direct Support Professional
The Residential Direct Support Professional is support position responsible for providing training, advocacy and support services to adult individuals with disabilities in their homes and to assist residents with development and management of basic living and social skills. Provide assistance to On-Site Manager with medication record keeping; daily job/staff/resident assignment logs and other administrative tasks as required. Transport residents to and from home to medical appointments and activities. Implementation of resident’s ISP and IPP goals and modeling and teaching appropriate living skills.
Ability to meet Community Care Licensing requirements
A valid California driver’s license, personal vehicle insurance coverage, and a clean driving record
Minimum two years experience in a residential home environment
Supervision experience of individuals with developmental disabilities in a work activity or day program
