  1. Conduct research and analysis on current video compression and streaming technologies in the market.
  2. Collaborate with the development team to design and implement video compression and streaming algorithms.
  3. Optimize existing video compression and streaming services for better performance and user experience.
  4. Troubleshoot and debug issues related to video compression and streaming.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in video compression and streaming technologies.
  6. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of video compression and streaming services.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge Of Video Compression Techniques: A Strong Understanding Of Various Video Compression Algorithms And Techniques, Such As H.264, H.265, And Vp9, Is Essential For This Role. Candidates Should Also Have Experience With Video Encoding And Decoding Tools.

  • Familiarity With Multimedia Streaming Protocols: This Role Requires A Thorough Understanding Of Multimedia Streaming Protocols, Such As Hls, Mpeg-Dash, And Rtmp. Candidates Should Also Be Familiar With Adaptive Bitrate Streaming And Have Experience Optimizing Video Streaming For Different Devices And Network Conditions.

  • Proficiency In Multimedia Software And Tools: Candidates Should Have Experience Working With Multimedia Software And Tools, Such As Ffmpeg, Handbrake, And Adobe Premiere. Knowledge Of Video Editing And Post-Production Techniques Is Also Highly Desirable.

  • Strong Coding Skills: This Role Requires Candidates To Have Strong Coding Skills In Languages Such As C++, Python, And Java. Familiarity With Multimedia Frameworks, Such As Ffmpeg And Gstreamer, Is Also A Plus.

  • Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills: The Ability To Troubleshoot And Solve Complex Issues Related To Video Compression And Streaming Is Crucial For This Role. Candidates Should Also Have Strong Analytical Skills To Analyze Data And Optimize Video Streaming Performance.
