  1. Conduct research and development projects in the field of molecular dynamics.
  2. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and techniques in molecular dynamics.

  4. Design and implement experiments and simulations to investigate molecular structures and interactions.
  5. Analyze and interpret data from experiments and simulations, and communicate findings to the team.

  7. Work with cross-functional teams to apply molecular dynamics techniques to various projects and products.
  8. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of ByteDance's technology and goals.
  9. Continuously contribute to the improvement of research processes and methodologies.
  10. Mentor and train junior scientists and interns.

Job Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree In Molecular Dynamics: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Chemistry, Biochemistry, Or Biophysics Is Required For This Position. A Phd Is Preferred.

  • Strong Computational Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Computational Methods And Tools Used In Molecular Dynamics Simulations. Familiarity With Software Packages Such As Gromacs, Amber, Or Charmm Is Highly Desirable.

  • Experience In Protein Dynamics: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Protein Dynamics And Experience In Simulating Protein Interactions And Conformational Changes. Experience With Coarse-Grained Simulations And Membrane Proteins Is A Plus.

  • Publication Record: A Proven Track Record Of Publications In High-Impact Journals In The Field Of Molecular Dynamics Is Highly Desired. The Candidate Should Be Able To Demonstrate Their Ability To Design, Conduct, And Analyze Simulations And Present Their Findings In A Clear And Concise Manner.

  • Team Player: The Candidate Should Be Able To Work Well In A Team Environment, Collaborating With Other Research Scientists, Engineers, And Data Scientists. Strong Communication Skills And The Ability To Work On Multiple Projects Simultaneously Is Essential.
