- Collaborate with team members to develop and maintain the CPU application platform for ByteDance's server platform.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in CPU architecture and incorporate them into the development of the platform.
- Work closely with other engineers and researchers to optimize the performance and efficiency of the server platform.
- Design, implement, and test new features and enhancements for the CPU application platform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or bugs related to the platform.
- Conduct research and experiments to improve the platform's capabilities and performance.
- Document and communicate technical specifications and progress to team members and stakeholders.
- Continuously learn and explore new technologies and techniques to enhance the server platform.
- Participate in team meetings and provide valuable insights and suggestions for improvement.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other interns and team members to complete assigned projects and tasks.
- Take ownership and responsibility for assigned projects and ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Follow industry best practices and standards to ensure the platform's security and reliability.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of future interns and employees in the CPU application platform team.
- Represent ByteDance and the CPU application platform team in a positive and professional manner at all times.
Advanced Degree In Computer Science Or Related Field: A Successful Candidate For This Role Must Have Completed A Phd Program In Computer Science Or A Related Field, Demonstrating A Strong Foundation In Computer Architecture And Server Platform Design.
Experience With Cpu Architecture And Design: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Cpu Architecture And Design Principles, Including Experience With X86 And/Or Arm-Based Processors. This Knowledge Will Be Essential For Developing And Optimizing Server Platform Solutions.
Proficiency In Programming Languages And Software Development: The Role Requires A High Level Of Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As C/C++, Python, And Java, As Well As Experience With Software Development Tools And Techniques. This Will Be Necessary For Developing And Testing Server Platform Software.
Familiarity With Server Hardware And Systems: A Solid Understanding Of Server Hardware, Including Processors, Memory, Storage, And Networking Components, Is Essential For This Role. Familiarity With Server Operating Systems And Virtualization Technologies Is Also A Plus.
Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills: As A Cpu Application Platform Engineer Intern, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Troubleshooting And Optimizing Server Platform Solutions. Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills Are Necessary To Identify And Resolve Performance Issues And Improve Overall System Efficiency.
