
Associate Electronics Technician
Performs both preventative and corrective maintenance on stand-alone computer systems, electronic instrumentation, elector-mechanical and microprocessor/minicomputer based systems. Supports engineers in the evaluation of systems and on development projects. Assists in drafting functional specifications and acceptance test criteria for new instrumentation and systems. Serves as junior member of acceptance test team. Assists in drafting preventative maintenance instructions and check lists for Electronic Instrumentation & Computer Systems. Performs calibrations according to manufacturer and local established calibration specifications and instructions. - Relate effectively to hourly and supervisory personnel in the pursuit of technical information and problem solving. Possess a technical curiosity which motives the study and understanding of new development. The ability to understands how various systems supported by maintenance relate to their respective functions and the ability to apply theory to practical application.
Familiarity with Security inspection equipment and/or Security Control systems helpful.
Must have a working knowledge of shop floor equipment (NC machining centers, Lathes/Mills; and Welding equipment)
Must be familiar with CNC/PLC controls (emphasis on Fanuc and A/B; Siemens helpful).
