
Water Resources Engineer
Burns & McDonnell is seeking an experienced Water Resources Engineer to join our dynamic team of professionals. As a key member of our Water Resources & Hydrology group, you will be responsible for providing technical design, analysis, and management of water resources projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to make a positive impact on the environment and clients. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the water resources field. Advanced degrees and/or professional licensure are highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, project management experience, and a passion for working collaboratively to develop innovative solutions to complex problems. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, take initiative, and think outside the box will also be essential. Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative solutions to complex water resources engineering problems.
- Provide technical design and analysis for water resources projects.
- Manage water resources projects from conception to completion.
- Develop and review plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Prepare technical reports and correspondence.
- Participate in meetings and presentations with clients.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals in the water resources & hydrology group.
- Utilize GIS software to analyze and map water resources projects.
- Remain current with changes and developments in the water resources engineering field.
- Adhere to all applicable safety regulations and industry standards.
Bachelor's Degree In Civil Engineering
Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills
Professional Engineer (Pe) License
Master's Degree In Water Resources Engineering

Experience With Hydrologic And Hydraulic Modeling
