
Water Resources Engineer
At Burns & McDonnell, our Water Resources Engineers play a critical role in developing and managing water-related infrastructure projects that benefit communities. We are looking for a highly motivated engineer with experience in the design and planning of water supply infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a focus on water resources, as well as a minimum of five years of related engineering experience. Our Water Resources Engineer should have excellent communication skills, a strong customer service ethos, and a passion for innovation. Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage water-related infrastructure projects that benefit communities.
- Design and plan water supply infrastructure.
- Prepare technical reports and engineering designs for projects.
- Evaluate existing infrastructure and suggest improvements.
- Prepare cost estimates and project budgets.
- Collaborate with other engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Advise clients on best practices and innovative solutions.
- Remain current on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Provide superior customer service and support.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills
