  1. Design and analyze transmission systems: As a Transmission Engineer, you will be responsible for developing efficient and effective designs for transmission systems. This includes analyzing data, conducting feasibility studies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Manage construction and installation: You will be responsible for overseeing the construction and installation of transmission systems, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and meets quality standards.
  3. Solve complex problems: You will be expected to use your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to find solutions to complex issues that may arise during the design, construction, and installation of transmission systems.
  4. Collaborate with team members: In this role, you will work closely with other engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure that project goals are met. This requires excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry developments: You will be expected to stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to transmission systems and incorporate this knowledge into your work.
  6. Ensure project compliance: You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects adhere to relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  7. Conduct site visits: As a Transmission Engineer, you may be required to visit project sites to monitor progress, address any issues, and ensure that work is being carried out according to plans.
  8. Prepare and review technical documents: You will be responsible for preparing technical reports, specifications, and drawings, as well as reviewing documents prepared by other team members to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  9. Mentor junior engineers: You may be responsible for mentoring and guiding junior engineers, providing them with technical support and helping them develop their skills.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Transmission Design And Engineering.

  • Proficiency In Industry Standard Software Such As Pls-Cadd, Pls-Pole, And Autocad.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements And Standards For Transmission Projects, Including Nerc And Ferc Regulations.

  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Both Independently And Collaboratively With A Team.
