  10. Contribute to the development and improvement of processes and procedures related to geological and stratigraphic analysis.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Geology: A Senior Geologist - Stratigrapher At Burns & Mcdonnell Should Possess A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Geology Or A Related Field. This Advanced Education Provides A Strong Foundation In Geological Principles And Techniques.

  • Extensive Experience In Stratigraphy: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Stratigraphy, With A Focus On Sedimentary Analysis And Interpretation. This Experience Should Include Both Fieldwork And Data Analysis.

  • Strong Geological Mapping Skills: A Senior Geologist - Stratigrapher Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Geological Mapping Techniques, Including The Ability To Create And Interpret Maps, Cross-Sections, And Other Geological Diagrams. This Skill Is Essential For Accurately Identifying And Characterizing Rock Formations.

  • Proficiency In Geologic Software: Burns & Mcdonnell Uses Various Geologic Software Programs For Data Analysis, Interpretation, And Modeling. The Candidate Should Have A Strong Working Knowledge Of These Programs And Be Able To Effectively Use Them To Analyze And Interpret Geological Data.

  • Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Geology Team, The Senior Geologist - Stratigrapher Should Possess Strong Communication And Project Management Skills. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Geological Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
