Burns & McDonnell is seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Engineer to join our team and lead our groundwater remediation projects.   1. Lead and manage groundwater remediation projects from inception to completion.
  2. Utilize technical expertise to develop effective and efficient remediation strategies.
  3. Conduct site assessments and investigations to determine the extent of environmental contamination.
  4. Design and implement remediation systems, including but not limited to groundwater treatment, soil vapor extraction, and bioremediation.
  5. Oversee and coordinate subcontractors and field staff to ensure project objectives are met.
  6. Prepare and review technical reports, including feasibility studies, remedial action plans, and progress reports.
  7. Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations and permits.
  8. Communicate and collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.
  9. Mentor and train junior engineers and staff.
  10. Stay current on industry developments and advancements in environmental remediation techniques.
  11. Identify and pursue opportunities for business development and growth.
  12. Manage project budgets and schedules.
  13. Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies.
  14. Promote and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  15. Maintain accurate and organized project documentation.

Job Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer (Pe) License.

  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Environmental Engineering Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Groundwater Remediation Projects.

  • Strong Understanding Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Groundwater Remediation.

  • Experience Managing And Leading Teams On Complex Environmental Projects.
