We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Sediment Remediation Practice Lead to join our team and lead our efforts in restoring and protecting waterways and coastal areas. As the Practice Lead, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing innovative solutions for managing and remediating contaminated sediments.   1. Develop and implement strategic plans for the Sediment Remediation Practice within Burns & McDonnell, in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  2. Lead and oversee all aspects of sediment remediation projects, including project management, budgeting, scheduling, and technical guidance.
  3. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in sediment remediation techniques to ensure the practice remains at the forefront of the field.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other departments within the company to identify opportunities for growth and foster a culture of innovation.
  5. Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical expertise and career development support.
  6. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to ensure their growth and success within the company.
  7. Foster strong relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes and maintain the company's reputation as a leader in the industry.
  8. Develop and manage project proposals, contracts, and other business development activities to secure new clients and projects.
  9. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to sediment remediation projects.
  10. Represent Burns & McDonnell at industry conferences, seminars, and other events to promote the company's expertise and build relationships with potential clients.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Sediment Remediation, Including Cercla And Rcra.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Sediment Remediation Projects, Including Project Management And Team Leadership.

  • Strong Technical Expertise In Sediment Characterization And Remediation Techniques, Including Dredging, Capping, And In-Situ Treatment.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Delivering Complex Sediment Remediation Projects On Time And Within Budget.
