  1. Lead and manage Substation projects from conception to completion.
  2. Utilize extensive knowledge of Substation design and construction to develop project plans and timelines.
  3. Oversee project budget and ensure projects are completed within allocated resources.
  4. Utilize strong leadership skills to effectively manage project teams and ensure project goals are met.
  5. Collaborate with a diverse group of professionals including engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure project success.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
  7. Conduct regular project meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders.
  8. Identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues.
  9. Ensure projects are in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  10. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the project team.
  11. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
  12. Stay informed about industry developments and best practices related to Substation projects.
  13. Represent the company and maintain a positive image in all interactions with clients and partners.
  14. Serve as a mentor and coach to junior project management staff.
  15. Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
  16. Communicate project progress and issues to upper management as needed.
  17. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field: A Project Manager - Substation At Burns & Mcdonnell Is Expected To Have A Strong Technical Background And Understanding Of Substation Design And Construction. A Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field Is Typically Required For This Role.

  • Experience In Substation Project Management: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In Managing Substation Projects. This Includes Experience In Budgeting, Scheduling, And Resource Management.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Codes And Standards: A Project Manager - Substation At Burns & Mcdonnell Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Industry Codes And Standards Related To Substation Design And Construction. This Includes Knowledge Of Nesc, Ieee, And Ansi Standards.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Project Manager, Effective Communication And Leadership Skills Are Crucial For Success. The Ability To Communicate Clearly With Clients, Team Members, And Stakeholders Is Essential For Ensuring Project Success.

  • Pmp Or Other Project Management Certifications: Having A Project Management Professional (Pmp) Certification Or Other Project Management Certifications Is Highly Desirable For This Role. These Certifications Demonstrate A Candidate's Knowledge And Expertise In Project Management Practices And Methodologies.
