Job Description

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an experienced Project Controls Specialist to join our team and help us achieve our mission of delivering exceptional service and top-notch solutions to our clients. We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about working in a fast-paced environment and driving projects forward.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience in project controls or project management, preferably in a consulting or engineering environment. A bachelor's degree in engineering, project management or a related field, as well as a certification in project management, is preferred. The successful candidate should have strong knowledge of project management software solutions, have excellent communication and analytical skills, and possess the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities:

  1. Manage project controls and timelines to ensure timely completion of projects.
  2. Develop and implement project control plans, budgets, and schedules.
  3. Monitor project performance and provide regular progress updates to the project team.
  4. Utilize project management software solutions to track and analyze project data.
  5. Analyze project costs and propose ways to reduce cost and improve efficiency.
  6. Participate in meetings to discuss project timelines and deliverables.
  7. Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and contractors.
  9. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
  10. Support the development and implementation of project management best practices.
