
Procurement Specialist
At Burns & McDonnell, our Procurement Specialists play an integral role in streamlining our procurement processes to ensure on-time delivery and cost-effective purchasing. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a keen eye for detail to join our team.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of procurement experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, and a working knowledge of ERP systems. Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate supplier proposals and bids to ensure best value for the company
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Negotiate and manage contracts, including pricing, payment terms, and other contractual obligations
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships, including evaluating and monitoring current supplier performance
- Research and analyze market conditions, prices, and trends to identify potential vendors
- Produce procurement reports and documents to support all procurement activities
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure a smooth procurement process
- Manage the procurement process, from creating purchase orders to ensuring accurate invoicing
- Utilize ERP systems to manage all aspects of the procurement process
- Develop and implement strategies and processes to improve the procurement process
