Landscape Architect

Burns & McDonnell is looking for an experienced Landscape Architect to join our team. We need a creative, driven individual who can bring a unique perspective to our projects. If you have a passion for designing beautiful spaces and a commitment to sustainability, we want to hear from you.The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or a related field, as well as experience in designing landscapes for commercial, residential, and institutional projects. A proven track record of successful project completion is a must. In addition, the Landscape Architect must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders. Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Suite is also required.

Responsibilities:

1. Design creative outdoor spaces for commercial, residential, and institutional projects.
2. Develop sustainable landscape designs in line with environmental regulations.
3. Utilize AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Suite to create detailed plans and designs.
4. Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to ensure project success.
5. Prepare and present professional designs to clients.
6. Monitor entire project lifecycle and ensure adherence to standards and timelines.
7. Research and analyze relevant data to inform decision making.
8. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
9. Ensure compliance with local zoning and safety regulations.
