- Perform skilled ironwork tasks such as cutting, shaping, and installing steel and iron beams, columns, and other structural components according to blueprints and construction plans.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times on the job site, including proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project deadlines are met and work is completed to specifications.
- Operate a variety of tools and equipment, including power tools, welding equipment, and cranes, to complete ironwork tasks.
- Inspect and maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in safe and working condition.
- Assist with the planning and layout of construction projects, including determining proper placement and alignment of structural components.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to provide updates on project progress and any potential issues.
- Adhere to project budget and timelines, while also maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and stay updated on industry advancements and best practices.
- Uphold the company's values of safety, quality, and integrity in all aspects of the job.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Ironworking, Preferably In The Construction Or Industrial Sector.
Proficiency In Reading And Interpreting Blueprints, Schematics, And Technical Drawings.
Knowledge Of Safety Protocols And Regulations Related To Ironworking, Including Osha Standards.
Ability To Operate And Maintain Various Tools And Equipment Used In Ironworking, Such As Welding Machines, Torches, And Grinders.
Strong Physical Stamina And Ability To Work In Outdoor And High-Altitude Environments, Often In Extreme Weather Conditions.
