Job Description

We are looking for an organized, motivated and inspiring Human Resources Business Partner to join the team at Burns & McDonnell. This position requires an experienced professional with the ability to think strategically and deliver exceptional HR services. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of success in the field of Human Resources, a positive attitude and the ability to work in a collaborative environment. This is a great opportunity for a driven individual to be part of a dynamic, fast-paced organization.The Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies in alignment with business objectives. The successful candidate will provide HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on a variety of topics including employee relations, compliance, and best practices. Additionally, they will provide support in the areas of recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee engagement.The ideal candidate will possess:• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field• At least 5 years of professional Human Resources experience• SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations• Excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational skillsIf you are an experienced Human Resources professional who is looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute HR strategies in alignment with business objectives.
  2. Provide HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on a variety of topics including employee relations, compliance, and best practices.
  3. Provide support in the areas of recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee engagement.
  4. Monitor and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  5. Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy of information.
  6. Create and implement procedures and policies related to HR.
  7. Manage and resolve employee relations issues.
  8. Assist with on boarding and orientation of new employees.
  9. Promote a positive and productive work environment.
  10. Utilize analytics to measure and report on key HR metrics.
