GIS Specialist

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and implement GIS systems to support business operations.
2. Utilize GIS software to analyze data and create maps for visualization.
3. Utilize cartographic principles to create visually appealing maps.
4. Ensure accuracy of data collected and maintained within the GIS system.
5. Develop and maintain data integrity procedures to ensure accuracy of data.
6. Develop and implement processes to ensure data security.
7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure GIS systems are meeting business needs.
8. Provide technical support to users of GIS systems.
9. Manage GIS system upgrades and updates.
10. Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors to ensure GIS system functionality.
11. Monitor and evaluate GIS system performance.
12. Create technical documents as needed.
