- Monitor and maintain the accuracy and reliability of geospatial data for various projects.
- Utilize GIS technologies and tools to perform data analysis and identify any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure data integrity throughout all project phases.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures for GIS data to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Conduct regular audits of GIS data and make necessary corrections and updates.
- Identify and troubleshoot data issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for GIS data management.
- Train and mentor team members on GIS data integrity and quality control processes.
- Work closely with project managers to prioritize and address data-related concerns.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on data integrity and address any concerns.
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in data management processes and workflows.
- Ensure compliance with company and client standards for GIS data integrity.
- Coordinate with external vendors and data providers to ensure accurate and timely data delivery.
- Keep detailed records and documentation of data integrity processes and procedures.
- Continuously strive for perfection and strive to improve the overall quality of GIS data.
Bachelor's Degree In Gis, Geography, Or Related Field
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Gis Data Management And Quality Control
Proficiency In Arcgis Software And Other Gis Tools
Knowledge Of Spatial Data Standards And Best Practices
Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Identify And Resolve Data Integrity Issues.
