Environmental Planner

This individual should have a strong background in environmental sciences, permitting, and compliance, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who is able to develop new strategies to effectively meet business needs.We are seeking a professional who is able to work independently and can take initiative to identify and resolve issues. The successful candidate will be organized and detail-oriented and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. The Environmental Planner must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working with all levels of management.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field, with at least five years of experience in environmental planning or a related field. Knowledge and experience in air quality, waste management, water resources, and environmental compliance regulations is a must. Additionally, the Environmental Planner should have experience with environmental permitting and environmental analyses.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop strategies to effectively meet business needs and ensure the development of sustainable and successful projects.
2. Analyze environmental permitting and environmental analyses and identify and resolve related issues.
3. Maintain knowledge of air quality, waste management, water resources, and environmental compliance regulations.
4. Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
5. Conduct research on environmental projects and develop plans accordingly.
6. Effectively communicate findings to management and other stakeholders.
7. Monitor environmental compliance activities and report findings to the appropriate regulatory agencies.
8. Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials as needed.
9. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure project success.
