  1. Assist in the development and implementation of electrical engineering projects for the Aviation & Federal team.
  2. Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and design innovative solutions for clients.
  3. Conduct research and analysis to support project development and decision-making.
  4. Participate in project meetings and provide updates on progress and any potential issues.
  5. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all project work.
  6. Use specialized software and tools to create designs and models for electrical systems.
  7. Assist with project documentation, including creating reports and presentations.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Aviation And Federal Regulations: An Electrical Engineering Intern At Burns & Mcdonnell Should Have A Basic Understanding Of Aviation And Federal Regulations Related To Electrical Systems. This Includes Knowledge Of Faa Regulations, National Electrical Code (Nec), And Other Relevant Codes And Standards.

  • Strong Technical Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Technical Skills In Electrical Engineering, Including A Good Understanding Of Power Distribution, Lighting Systems, And Communication Systems. Familiarity With Computer-Aided Design (Cad) Software And Other Relevant Tools Is Also Desirable.

  • Attention To Detail: As An Intern, The Candidate Will Be Expected To Assist In The Design And Implementation Of Various Electrical Systems. Therefore, Attention To Detail Is Crucial To Ensure Accuracy And Safety In The Designs.

  • Team Player: The Candidate Should Be Able To Work Effectively In A Team Environment. This Includes Communicating Effectively With Other Team Members, Taking Direction From Senior Engineers, And Collaborating On Projects.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: An Electrical Engineering Intern Should Possess Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Identify And Resolve Issues That May Arise During The Design And Construction Phases Of Projects. This Includes The Ability To Think Critically And Propose Innovative Solutions.
