- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the communities where Burns & McDonnell operates.
- Serve as a liaison between the company and community organizations, government agencies, and other relevant groups.
- Develop and implement community relations strategies to strengthen the company's reputation and presence in the community.
- Plan and execute community events, sponsorships, and other outreach activities to promote the company's values and initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure community relations efforts align with overall company goals and objectives.
- Monitor and respond to community concerns, feedback, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Create and distribute communication materials, such as press releases, newsletters, and social media posts, to effectively convey the company's community involvement.
- Conduct research and stay updated on community issues, trends, and opportunities for collaboration.
- Track and report on community relations metrics and progress to senior management.
- Serve as an ambassador for Burns & McDonnell, promoting the company's commitment to innovation, collaboration, and community involvement.
- Maintain a positive and professional image of the company at all times, both internally and externally.
- Stay informed of industry best practices and recommend new ideas and initiatives to continuously improve the company's community relations efforts.
Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Community Relations, Public Outreach, Or Stakeholder Engagement.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With A Diverse Range Of Stakeholders.
Strong Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Plan, Organize, And Execute Community Relations Initiatives.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Local Government Processes And Regulations, As Well As Experience Working With Community Organizations And Non-Profits.
