  1. Design and plan solar power facilities in accordance with industry standards and client needs.
  2. Oversee the construction and installation of solar power systems, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
  3. Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to determine the most suitable locations for solar power facilities.
  4. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  5. Stay up-to-date with advancements in solar power technology and incorporate them into designs and projects.
  6. Develop and review engineering and construction plans, specifications, and reports.
  7. Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and clients throughout all phases of the project.
  8. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design plans and specifications.
  9. Communicate and collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  10. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  11. Identify and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during the design or construction process.
  12. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in the design and construction of solar power facilities.
  13. Mentor and train junior engineers on solar power technology and project management.
  14. Represent Burns & McDonnell in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Civil Engineering With A Focus On Renewable Energy Or Solar Power.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Designing And Managing Solar Power Projects.

  • Proficiency In Industry-Standard Software Such As Autocad, Pvsyst, And Helioscope.

  • Knowledge Of Local And Federal Regulations Related To Solar Power Installation And Construction.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Team Environment.
