  3. Utilize civil engineering principles to design solar power systems, including site layout, grading, drainage, and foundation design.
  4. Perform site evaluations and feasibility studies to identify potential challenges and opportunities for solar power projects.
  5. Develop detailed project plans, specifications, and construction documents for solar power installations.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations in the design and construction of solar power systems.
  7. Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and ensure quality control.
  8. Communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide technical expertise and address any concerns or issues.
  9. Stay up-to-date on advancements in solar power technology and industry developments to continuously improve project designs.
  10. Collaborate with team members to identify and implement innovative solutions for sustainable energy projects.
  11. Mentor and train junior engineers and provide technical guidance and support.
  12. Adhere to company safety standards and promote a culture of safety on project sites.
  13. Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote our expertise in solar power engineering.
  14. Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including reports, calculations, and drawings.
  15. Contribute to business development efforts by preparing proposals, participating in client meetings, and identifying new project opportunities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Civil Engineering Or Related Field: A Civil Engineer (Solar) - Power At Burns & Mcdonnell Should Possess A Strong Educational Background In Civil Engineering Or A Related Field. This Provides The Necessary Technical Knowledge And Skills To Effectively Design And Manage Solar Power Projects.

  • Professional Engineering (Pe) License: A Pe License Is A Must-Have Qualification For A Civil Engineer (Solar) - Power At Burns & Mcdonnell. This License Demonstrates That The Engineer Has Met The Necessary Education, Experience, And Examination Requirements To Practice Engineering In A Specific State.

  • Experience In Solar Power Projects: Burns & Mcdonnell Is A Leader In The Renewable Energy Industry, And They Are Looking For A Civil Engineer With Experience In Solar Power Projects. This Includes Experience In Site Selection, Design, Construction, And Operation Of Solar Power Facilities.

  • Knowledge Of Relevant Codes And Regulations: A Skilled Civil Engineer (Solar) - Power Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Relevant Codes And Regulations Related To Solar Power Projects. This Includes Building Codes, Electrical Codes, And Environmental Regulations.

  • Strong Communication And Project Management Skills: Burns & Mcdonnell Values Engineers Who Can Effectively Communicate With Clients, Team Members, And Stakeholders.
