- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the AEC industry, including potential clients and markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and promote our services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop proposals, presentations, and other materials to support business development efforts.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends and potential opportunities.
- Utilize networking events, conferences, and other industry events to generate leads and build relationships.
- Monitor and track sales metrics to evaluate progress towards goals and adjust strategies as needed.
- Stay updated on industry developments and competitors to inform business development strategies.
- Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals to achieve department goals.
- Act as a brand ambassador for the company, promoting our services and values to potential clients.
- Represent the company in negotiations and contract discussions with clients.
- Continuously seek out ways to improve and innovate business development processes and strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop and distribute promotional materials and campaigns.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of business development activities and client interactions.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Engineering, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Business Development Or Sales, Preferably In The Engineering Or Construction Industry
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Clients And Stakeholders
Proven Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Sales Targets And Driving Business Growth
Knowledge Of Market Trends, Competitive Landscape, And Industry Regulations Related To The Services Offered By Burns & Mcdonnell.
