Job Description

We are looking for a BIM Coordinator to join our team at Burns & McDonnell to help us develop and maintain our Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards. This role is essential to ensure our projects are accurately planned, designed, and constructed using the latest BIM technologies. As the BIM Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing our BIM processes, software, and workflow. We are looking for someone who is reliable, organized, and detail-oriented, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should also have an understanding of BIM technologies, standards, and processes. The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum of three years of experience in BIM coordination and a Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management. You should also have experience using BIM software, such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and 3D Studio Max. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain BIM standards and processes.
  2. Manage BIM software and workflow to ensure accuracy of projects.
  3. Communicate and collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  4. Ensure projects are planned, designed, and constructed using the latest BIM technologies.
  5. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BIM software.
  6. Train and mentor team members on BIM processes and standards.
  7. Monitor and review project progress to ensure BIM standards are met.
  8. Research new technologies and software to improve BIM processes.
  9. Develop strategies to enhance BIM coordination and implementation.
  10. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate BIM progress and results.
