Job Description

At Burns & McDonnell, we are on the lookout for an experienced and knowledgeable BIM Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our projects are successful and delivered on time. We are seeking a dedicated individual with the drive and enthusiasm to take on this challenge and to help our team make a positive impact in the industry.To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a BIM position. Having a Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field, and knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or a related software is a plus. You must also have a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with people from various disciplines and backgrounds. Above all, we are looking for someone with a passion for using BIM to solve complex problems and a commitment to providing an outstanding customer service experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop BIM models for our projects, ensuring accuracy and quality of the model.
  2. Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or other related software to create and maintain BIM models.
  3. Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that the BIM models meet project requirements.
  4. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  5. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy of the BIM models.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  7. Provide training and support to team members in the use of Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other related software.
  8. Provide customer service and technical support to external clients.
  9. Monitor the progress of projects and ensure that deadlines are met.
  10. Monitor emerging trends and technologies in the BIM industry.
