1. Operate and maintain company trucks and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
2. Transport merchandise from the distribution center to stores in a timely and accurate manner.
3. Ensure proper loading and unloading of merchandise at stores and the distribution center.
4. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and report any issues or concerns.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
6. Communicate effectively with warehouse and store teams to coordinate deliveries and resolve any potential issues.
7. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, regarding trucking and transportation.
8. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse yard, ensuring efficient flow of merchandise.
9. Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as inventory management and order picking.
10. Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by following all safety protocols and procedures.
11. Continuously seek ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of warehouse operations.
12. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.
13. Complete all required training and attend meetings as necessary to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
14. Maintain a positive and collaborative attitude while working with team members and other departments.
15. Display a strong understanding of logistics and operations, and proactively identify and report any potential issues or areas for improvement.
