
Warehouse Team Lead
We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Lead to join our team at Burlington Stores! This role is an excellent opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented professional to help us maintain our high standards for quality and customer service while overseeing a team of warehouse staff.The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, with strong organizational and leadership skills. Your ability to delegate tasks and ensure deadlines are met will be a key part of your success in this position. You will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the warehouse, as well as overseeing the team and ensuring that all safety and security protocols are followed.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of warehouse experience, as well as previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role. A proven track record of success in leading teams and managing operations will be essential. You will bring strong problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the warehouse, including delegating tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Oversee a team of warehouse staff and ensure that all safety and security protocols are followed.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Train and mentor team members to ensure they are meeting company standards.
- Troubleshoot any operational issues and resolve any customer service complaints.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Prepare reports and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Establish and enforce policies and procedures for the warehouse team.
- Ensure all employees are working in compliance with company regulations and safety standards.
