  1. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment and facilities.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and make necessary repairs.
  3. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  4. Monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment and notify management of any shortages.
  5. Collaborate with other team members to identify and address maintenance needs in a timely manner.
  6. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
  7. Keep work area clean and organized.
  8. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from warehouse staff.
  9. Communicate any potential hazards or safety concerns to management.
  10. Continuously improve maintenance processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
  11. Train and mentor new maintenance technicians as needed.
  12. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in maintenance technology.
  13. Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications

  • Prior Experience In Warehouse Maintenance: Candidates Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Maintenance Role Within A Warehouse Or Distribution Center Setting. This Includes Knowledge Of Conveyor Systems, Material Handling Equipment, And General Facility Maintenance.

  • Knowledge Of Electrical And Mechanical Systems: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Electrical And Mechanical Systems Commonly Found In Warehouse Environments. This Includes Troubleshooting And Repairing Issues With Conveyor Systems, Forklifts, And Other Equipment.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: A Skilled Maintenance Technician Should Have Excellent Problem-Solving Abilities To Diagnose And Fix Maintenance Issues In A Timely Manner. This Includes The Ability To Identify Potential Problems And Proactively Address Them Before They Become Major Issues.

  • Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Manuals: Candidates Should Be Comfortable Reading And Interpreting Technical Manuals, Blueprints, And Schematics To Perform Maintenance Tasks. This Includes The Ability To Use Tools And Equipment To Make Repairs And Adjustments.

  • Safety-Conscious Mindset: Safety Is A Top Priority In Any Warehouse Setting, And Candidates Should Have A Strong Focus On Safety In Their Daily Tasks. This Includes Following Established Safety Protocols And Procedures, As Well As Identifying And Addressing Potential Safety Hazards In The Warehouse.
