  1. Perform regular maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including conveyor systems, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
  2. Conduct routine inspections of warehouse facilities to identify and address any potential safety hazards or maintenance needs.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with equipment and facility systems.
  4. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and inventory of supplies.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient use of warehouse space and equipment.
  6. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment for all employees.
  7. Monitor and track inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment parts.
  8. Train and assist other warehouse employees on proper use and maintenance of equipment.
  9. Communicate effectively with management and other team members about maintenance needs and timelines.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and advancements in warehouse maintenance technology.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Warehouse Equipment: A Warehouse Skilled Maintenance Technician Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Warehouse Equipment, Including Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, And Conveyor Systems. They Should Be Able To Troubleshoot And Repair Any Issues That Arise With These Machines.

  • Electrical And Mechanical Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Background In Electrical And Mechanical Systems. They Should Be Able To Read And Understand Technical Schematics, Diagnose Problems, And Perform Repairs On Warehouse Equipment.

  • Experience With Preventative Maintenance: A Warehouse Skilled Maintenance Technician Should Have Experience In Performing Preventative Maintenance On Warehouse Equipment. This Includes Regularly Scheduled Inspections, Lubrication, And Replacement Of Worn Or Damaged Parts To Prevent Breakdowns.

  • Ability To Work Independently: This Role Requires A Self-Motivated Individual Who Can Work Independently Without Constant Supervision. They Should Be Able To Prioritize Tasks And Manage Their Time Effectively To Maintain The Warehouse Equipment And Keep It Running Efficiently.

  • Safety Conscious: Safety Is A Top Priority In Any Warehouse Environment, And A Warehouse Skilled Maintenance Technician Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Regulations. They Should Also Be Able To Identify Potential Hazards And Take Corrective Action To Prevent Accidents Or Injuries.
