- Oversee all aspects of store operations, including but not limited to sales, inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service.
- Lead and develop a team of sales associates, ensuring they are properly trained and motivated to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Drive sales by implementing effective sales strategies, monitoring performance metrics, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Create a positive shopping experience for customers by maintaining a clean and organized store, providing excellent customer service, and addressing any customer concerns or complaints.
- Manage and control store expenses, including payroll, supplies, and inventory.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective merchandise delivery.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions about product assortment and pricing.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Train and enforce loss prevention measures to minimize theft and maximize profit.
- Collaborate with other store managers and corporate teams to implement company-wide initiatives and promotions.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to team members.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors to identify and implement innovative strategies to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Maintain a high level of personal and professional integrity, serving as a role model for the store team.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, diversity, and mutual respect.
- Represent Burlington Stores in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Retail Management, Preferably In A Store Manager Role.
Strong Leadership Skills And Ability To Motivate And Develop A Team.
Proven Track Record Of Driving Sales And Achieving Store Targets.
Ability To Analyze Data And Make Strategic Decisions To Improve Store Performance.
