  1. Conduct regular merchandise audits to identify any discrepancies or shortages.
  2. Implement and maintain effective security procedures to prevent theft and ensure the safety of our merchandise.
  3. Monitor surveillance footage and alert management of any suspicious activity.
  4. Communicate and collaborate with store management and team members to address and resolve any inventory issues.
  5. Maintain a high level of accuracy in all inventory-related tasks, including receiving, counting, and stocking merchandise.
  6. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with product inquiries and resolving customer concerns related to inventory.
  7. Follow company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, to ensure a safe and secure working environment.
  8. Stay updated on current shortage control procedures and regulations to ensure compliance.
  9. Keep accurate records of inventory counts, shortages, and recovery efforts.
  10. Participate in store training and development programs to continuously improve job knowledge and performance.
  11. Maintain a professional and positive attitude while adhering to customer service standards.
  12. Collaborate with other store associates to ensure efficient and effective shortage control operations.
  13. Proactively identify areas for improvement in shortage control processes and make recommendations to management.
  14. Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
