
Store Associate - Shortage Control

- Greet and welcome customers to the store in a friendly and professional manner.
- Monitor store entrances and exits to detect any suspicious or fraudulent activity.
- Conduct regular checks and inspections of merchandise and displays to identify potential theft or loss.
- Interact with customers and provide excellent customer service while also being vigilant for any unusual behavior.
- Follow company policies and procedures to prevent and deter theft and fraud.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas of the store are adequately monitored and secure.
- Utilize CCTV systems and other security equipment to monitor and identify potential theft or fraud.
- Respond promptly to any security-related incidents and follow proper reporting procedures.
- Attend training sessions and stay updated on store security protocols and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure a safe shopping experience for customers.
- Assist in implementing and enforcing store policies and procedures related to shortage control.
- Communicate any potential risks or concerns to management in a timely manner.
- Work closely with store management to develop and implement strategies to reduce theft and loss.
- Act as a resource for customers and provide guidance on safety and security measures.
- Continuously strive to improve store security measures and make recommendations for enhancements.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education Required.
Minimum Of 1 Year Experience In Retail Or Customer Service.
Ability To Handle Cash And Perform Basic Math Calculations.
Familiarity With Inventory Management And Loss Prevention Techniques.
