Job Description

Burlington Stores is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Store Associate - Shortage Control. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail and experience in retail inventory control. The successful candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task. The Store Associate - Shortage Control will be responsible for maintaining an accurate and secure inventory of merchandise in the store, ensuring that all inventory control processes are followed, and identifying and resolving any inventory discrepancies.We are looking for a candidate with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills who is able to work independently as well as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, a basic understanding of retail operations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. We are also looking for a candidate who is comfortable using a computer and is able to learn new systems quickly. Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure accurate and secure inventory of merchandise in the store.
  2. Follow all inventory control processes.
  3. Identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies.
  4. Work both independently and as part of a team.
  5. Maintain a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  6. Utilize a basic understanding of retail operations.
  7. Work in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Utilize a computer and learn new systems quickly.
