Store Associate - Shortage Control

We are looking for an experienced Store Associate - Shortage Control to join our team at Burlington Stores. As a Store Associate - Shortage Control, you will be responsible for identifying and preventing inventory losses in the store. You should have an eye for detail and strong analytical skills to be able to identify areas of risk and take appropriate action. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, has great communication skills, and is able to work independently as well as part of a team.Required Qualifications:• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in loss prevention, inventory control, or related field• Ability to work under pressure and handle a variety of tasks• Excellent communication and organizational skills• Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills• Proven ability to be proactive and take initiative• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and investigate suspicious activities related to inventory shortages

• Track and analyze inventory losses to identify areas of risk

• Develop and implement processes and procedures to prevent inventory losses

• Develop and maintain relationships with store personnel to ensure timely identification of potential issues

• Review and analyze store policies and procedures for compliance with shortage control standards

• Implement corrective action plans to address areas of risk

• Manage inventory control systems to ensure accuracy of inventory levels

• Monitor store security systems and report any potential security issues

• Prepare reports and documentation related to shortage control activities

• Provide training and guidance to store personnel on shortage control procedures
