In this role, you will play a crucial part in protecting our bottom line by leading and executing shortage control initiatives.   • Lead and execute shortage control initiatives to protect the company's bottom line
  • Monitor and analyze sales and inventory data to identify potential areas of loss
  • Train and supervise a team of shortage control associates to effectively carry out their responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to prevent and minimize loss from theft, fraud, and operational errors
  • Conduct regular audits and investigations to identify and address any discrepancies
  • Collaborate with store management and other departments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to loss prevention
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of current industry trends and technologies to continuously improve shortage control efforts
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide updates and recommendations on shortage control strategies
  • Stay updated on legal and ethical standards related to loss prevention and ensure adherence to them
  • Handle and resolve any customer or employee concerns related to loss prevention in a professional and timely manner
  • Uphold a high level of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive information and investigations.
